Webinar Focus

Rhythms are a central part of life—from the single cell to the integrated human body, and from conception to our final movements. They shape our development, daily functioning, and overall health.

At the heart of the cranial concept lies the Primary Respiratory Mechanism (PRM), a rhythmic movement believed to be associated with self-healing and fundamental to human health. Today, PRM-related rhythms are widely used in diagnosis and treatment across various cranially based therapeutic approaches.

Physiological rhythms have also attracted growing interest in the scientific community. In fact, the Nobel Prize was recently awarded for groundbreaking research on our “inner complex rhythms.”

This presentation explores the scientific basis of rhythms: how and where they are produced, how they are regulated, and how they can be measured. We will also examine the connections between W.G. Sutherland’s concept of the PRM and the current scientific understanding of physiological rhythms.
