Continuing Professional Development (CPD) allows Craniosacral Therapists to maintain, enhance, and expand their professional competency. CPD is essential for safeguarding clients, upholding high standards, and maintaining the integrity of the profession.
Craniosacral Ireland requires all members to undertake regular CPD, maintain an accurate CPD record, and comply with the organisation’s CPD requirements in order to retain membership.
CPD is not simply about attending events to meet minimum requirements — it is a meaningful process of learning, reflection, and contribution. CPD can happen through many formats: receiving or creating knowledge, structured training or informal experiences, and through personal or professional development.
