Presented by Jane Shaw BCST
14 January 2025 | 7:00pm
As part of our IACST webinar series, this session explores relationship to self through the lens of the Mother archetype, drawing from both Jungian psychology and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
Webinar Focus
This webinar will explore our relationship to self from the perspective of the Mother archetype. Drawing on Jungian concepts within a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy landscape, we will enter the world of pre- and peri-natal experience and attachment.
How can broken relationships be repaired through a reimagined relationship to the Mother? Early imprints can result in fragmented relationships and split-off parts. This session asks: can an embodied BCST practice support these parts to return to wholeness?
Key Learning Outcomes
Participants will:
- Learn the fundamentals of attachment patterns through a pre- and peri-natal lens
- Revisit BCST foundational principles
- Understand resonances between BCST foundations and Jungian principles, with a focus on the Mother archetype
- Experience somatic practices for felt-sense awareness of the body’s subtle rhythms
- Explore how BCST can support a more embodied relationship to self, others, and the earth
