The IACST is pleased to announce the launch of its new online webinar series, offering valuable CPD opportunities for members. This initiative reflects IACST’s ongoing commitment to professional development through expert-led sessions that are free for all members, with access also available to non-members for a fee. Each webinar will feature distinguished speakers and interactive Q&A segments.
The first webinar in the series, “Baby Colic – Clinical Tools and Insights”, will be presented by esteemed IACST member Belén Vázquez on Monday, 18 September at 7:00pm.
Webinar Focus
Colic is one of the most common reasons parents seek craniosacral therapy for their babies. It can present as digestive discomfort, unsettled behaviour, disrupted sleep, and signs of stress.
In this session, Belén will offer practical tools for recognising and supporting colicky babies in clinical practice, including natural remedies, baby probiotics, and at-home strategies, alongside real-world case studies.
Key Learning Outcomes
Participants will:
- Recognise common signs of colic in infants
- Understand the gut–brain connection and its relevance to infant health
- Gain tools to support colicky babies using CST
- Learn about safe, natural remedies including probiotics and nutritional support
- Apply practical case study insights in clinical settings
About the Presenter: Belén Vázquez
Belén is a highly experienced nutritional therapist with an MSc in Personalised Nutrition, and diplomas in Nutritional Therapy, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, and Integrative Baby Therapy.
Since 2017, she has run a successful baby and child clinic in Malahide, helping families address colic and other infant concerns through natural, integrative methods.
Belén specialises in holistic approaches to baby health, with a focus on the gut–brain connection and its influence on digestion, immunity, and behaviour. She is passionate about helping parents lay strong health foundations for their children. Her work has been featured in several publications, including IHCAN Magazine.
